19/09/2014 (Agence Europe) - 13 member states put implementation of youth guarantee in Finland under microscope. With the aim of “learning lessons from Finland's experience”, representatives of 13 member states (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, France Germany,, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden) were in Helsinki on 18 and 19 September. Finland is one of the pioneers in developing an instrument of this kind and has had a great deal of influence on the recommendations of the European Commission. This visit, as part of the Commission's mutual learning programme, provided the opportunity to look at how to create partnerships at local level (schools, public employment services, businesses and local authorities).
