Brussels, 19/09/2014 (Agence Europe) - A call for EuroMed cooperation research projects has been published for the domains of renewable energy, energy efficiency, water resource management or projects combining energy and water resource management.
The main contractor is ERANETMED, an EU initiative to promote coordination and research in the EuroMed region in liaison with European research programmes. The call for tender covers Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Jordan, Greece, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Portugal, Tunisia, Turkey and Spain. The call for tender will be formalised on 1 November and the project submission deadline is 31 January 2015.
ERANETMED's objective is to boost collaboration and capacity-pooling among the initiators of research programmes in the eligible countries in order to meet major challenges facing the Mediterranean area and strengthen cooperation in EuroMed research. (FB)
