Brussels, 01/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - The EIB (European Investment Bank) announced on 30 September that it planned to grant two loans to Egypt for the production of “clean” energy from wind farms, and for improving access to drinking water and sanitation for four million people. A loan of €50 million will go to the offshore 200 MW wind farm project in Gabal el Zait, off the coast of the Red Sea.
