01/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - Switzerland has made a further step in the process of joining Schengen. On Wednesday 30 September 2009, it signed an agreement with the EU setting out how Switzerland will participate in the FRONTEX agency, based in Warsaw, Poland. Switzerland will now be able to take part in some FRONTEX surveillance activity and will have the right to vote.
