Brussels, 14/07/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 13 July, the European Commission authorised a raft of public aid measures in the transport sector. Poland and Hungary got the go-ahead for state aid for inter-modal transport schemes. France was given authorisation to reform the pension system for the Paris public transport company (RATP). The Commission, nevertheless, refused to approve aid paid in 1999-2001 by the Danish state to the Combus public transport company.
