Brussels, 14/07/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 14 July, the European Commission formally confirmed that the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) would not be able to meet the 31 January 2010 deadline set for evaluating all submitted health claims for foodstuffs. The reason is the unexpectedly high number of claims to be processed.
