Brussels, 18/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission seems to be going full pelt before the end of year break to give the go-ahead on Thursday 18 December to several proposed mergers.
In this way it has cleared the proposed merger of Italian companies Ducato and Agos into a new joint venture, to be controlled jointly by Sofinco of France and Banco Popolare of Italy.
