Strasbourg, 18/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - In the night of 17 to 18 December, the Parliament, Council and Commission negotiators struck a compromise on the broad thrust of the future European legislation closely regulating the licensing and sustainable use of pesticides, to protect human health and biodiversity without neglecting the requirements of European farmers' in plant protection products.
