European Parliament wants to beef up ways of combating piracy and counterfeiting

Strasbourg, 18/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - Amid great procedural confusion, on Thursday 18 December, MEPs voted by 309 votes to 232, with 10 abstentions to adopt the own initiative report by Gianluca Susta (ALDE) on the impact of counterfeiting on international trade.
