Easier funding for small projects

Brussels, 18/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 16 December, the European Parliament gave its assent to the proposal to reduce disproportionate administrates charges for small budget projected financed out of cohesion funds: European regional Development Fund (ERDF), European Social Fund (ESF) and Cohesion Funds. Stavros Aranaoutakis' (PES, Greece) on this proposal was adopted by a large majority (621 votes for, 25 against, with 14 abstentions).
