Progress in EU-Africa partnership implementation will be assessed on 20-21 November by next joint ministerial troika

Brussels, 12/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - Launched in December 2007 at the EU-Africa summit in Lisbon, the EU-Africa strategic partnership will be the subject of a joint progress report at the ministerial troika meeting on 20-21 November in Addis Abeba. In this perspective, EU27 foreign affairs ministers declared that the Commission's communication of 17 October - “A Year after Lisbon, the Africa-Europe Partnership in Action”- constituted a useful contribution.
