European Commission authorises rescue aid for Italian company, Alpi Eagles

Brussels, 12/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 12 November, the European Commission authorised rescue aid for the Italian air carrier, Alpi Eagles SpA. The aid in question consists of a €17 million loan guarantee for the next six months so as to allow the airline to recommence flight operations. The aid will be limited in time to six months.
