Commission expands investigation on proposed restructuring aid to PZL Hydral of Poland

Brussels, 12/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 12 November, the European Commission decided to extend the scope of an in-depth investigation launched under EC Treaty state aid rules in September 2008 to establish whether aid, which Poland intends to grant for the restructuring of PZL Hydral, is in line with the EU Guidelines on state aid for rescuing and restructuring firms in difficulty.
