Brussels, 03/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - In a decision made on Tuesday 3 June, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) declared that compliance with the European directive on ship-source pollution with previous international agreements “cannot be assessed” (case C-308/06). This decision, however, does not respond to questions at the heart of the case in point, which is expected to now go before another international judicial authority.
