Vladimir Spidla opens 'European Network of Women in Decision-making in Politics and the Economy'

Brussels, 03/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - A new European network to get women into power was inaugurated in Brussels on Monday 2 June 2008 at a meeting attended by EU Equal Opportunities Commissioner Vladimir Spidla and the vice-chair of the European Parliament's Women's Rights and Gender Equality Committee, Zita Gurmai. The European Commission explains in a press release that the 'European Network of Women in Decision-making in Politics and the Economy' aims to provide a platform at EU level...
