MEPs in favour of network of criminal records

Brussels, 03/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 29 May, the members of the European Parliament's civil liberties committee supported the establishment of a system for exchanging information on the content of criminal records. MEPs unanimously (minus 2 abstentions) adopted the report by Agustin Diaz de Mera of Spain (EPP-ED) on the proposal for a Council framework decision (EUROPE 9446).
