GUE/NGL strongly critical of European Commission on workers' rights in single market

Brussels, 23/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - The debate in the late evening session in Strasbourg on Tuesday 22 April on the very sensitive issue of workers' rights in the single market once again provoked the ire of the European far left over European Court of Justice rulings in the Laval, Viking and Rüffert cases because they legitimised wage dumping (see EUROPE 9636 and 9646).
