Parliament calls on EU to engage in constructive dialogue with China and Africa without abandoning its values

Brussels, 23/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - China's increasing presence in Africa constitutes a challenge to EU-Africa relations. But rather than seeing China as a competitor, it is certainly better to increase cooperation and dialogue between China, Europe and Africa in the interests of sustainable development, without abandoning European values.
