Union concerns about possible social dumping resulting from court of justice rule in Rüffert case

Brussels, 27/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Court of Justice (ECJ) will make a decision on Thursday 3 April on the Dirk Rüffert case (C-346/06) in the Lower Saxony area (Germany). This case (in the name of the lawyer acting as the legal administration for the assets of the Objekt und Bauregie GmbH & Co. KG) looks at the right of public authorities when they grant work contracts. It examines the way in which companies launch tenders and pay wages corresponding to wages already agreed...
