Brussels, 27/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament environment committee is adamant. It is asking for imports and exports of metallic mercury and its components to be banned from 1 December 2010 and invites the European Parliament to follow this line when it gives a verdict on the subject in the plenary at the end of May.
