Commission clearance for proposed acquisition of Getränke Essmann by Radeberger

Brussels, 27/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 27 March, the European Commission cleared the proposed acquisition of Getränke Essmann by Radeberger (Oetker), both of Germany.

Radeberger belongs to the Oetker Group and is one of Germany's largest breweries. It is also active in the wholesale of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Getränke Essmann is mainly active in the wholesale distribution of beverages in the Federal States of Lower Saxony, Bremen, North Rhine Westphalia and...
