Tibetan parliamentary speaker urges EU to pressure China

Brussels, 27/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - Addressing the foreign affairs committee on Wednesday 26 March, the speaker of the Tibetan parliament in exile, Karma Chophel called on China to stop the repression, release political prisoners, allow independent medical teams to treat the injured demonstrators, and allow international investigators to look into the events of the last fortnight.
