Brussels, 19/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 19 December, the European Commission adopted a proposal to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 and other pollutant emissions from road vehicles (cars, heavy goods vehicles, buses, coaches, etc.). It replaces a previous proposal brought forward by the Commission in 2005 which was withdrawn in 2006, following its rejection by the European Parliament.
