Road is now open to formal adoption, on 18 December, of European consensus on humanitarian aid to ensure greater effectiveness

Brussels, 05/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament, the European Commission and the Council will be signing the European Consensus on Humanitarian Aid at the Parliament in Brussels on 18 December. The consensus will guide future EU humanitarian policy in order to make the most of its potential, as the EU is already the leading collective provider of international humanitarian aid.
