05/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in the euro area in October 2007 stood at 7.2%, compared with 7.3% in September 2007 and 8% in October 2006. In the EU27, the unemployment rate was 7%, unchanged from September and down from the same month last year, when it stood at 7.8%.
