European Parliament condemns attacks on members of AU peace keeping force

Strasbourg, 26/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - In a joint EPP-ED, PES, ALDE, UEN, Greens/EFA and GUE/NGL resolution on Sudan, adopted on Thursday 25 October, the European Parliament condemned attacks against members of the African Union (AU) peace keeping force in Darfur, and called on the UN to promptly investigate these, “war crimes”.
