Ferrero-Waldner to visit region

Brussels, 26/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner will visit Israel, the occupied Palestinian territory and Egypt between 28-31 October. During her visit, she will meet Israel's President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Defence Minister Ehud Barak and Deputy Prime Minister Haim Ramon, before having talks with Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.
