Pöttering visits Algeria

Brussels, 26/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - European Parliament President Hans-Gert Pöttering will begin a four-day official visit to Algeria on 28 October. He will have meetings with his official hosts, the Speaker of the Council of the Nation Abdelkader Bensalah and the Speaker of the National People's Assembly Abdelaziz Ziari, and will also have discussions with Head of State Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the head of government and members of his cabinet.
