MEPs agree to improve transmission of civil and commercial acts

Strasbourg, 25/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - MEPs have reaffirmed their goal to facilitate the transmission, signification and notification of civil and commercial legal documents in the EU. On Wednesday 24 October, MEPs approved the report by Jean-Paul Gauzès (EPP-ED, France) as part of codecision procedure (second reading) and Parliament subsequently gives its support to the amended Commission proposal of 2006.
