2007 Sakharov Prize goes to Sudanese lawyer Salih Mahmoud Osman for his struggle for justice in Darfur

Strasbourg, 25/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 25 October, the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament's political groupings unanimously decided to award the 2007 Sakharov Prize for freedom of speech to Sudanese human rights lawyer Salih Mahmoud Osman.
