27/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 27 June, the Commission approved investment aid to the German shipyard Peene-Werft (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). The aid, which is needed to improve the yard's productivity, amounts to €2 .025 million aid (22.5% of the total investment cost, estimated at €9million) and is the maximum allowed under the Framework on State Aid to Shipbuilding.
