Priority to reform and implementation of agreement to hold elections in September, EU stresses

Luxemburg, 19/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - The eleventh meeting of the EU-Ukraine Cooperation Council in Luxembourg on Monday evening saw the signing of three agreements, one on visa facilitation, another on readmission (see EUROPE 9448 and 9295) and a third on steel products. Developments in the internal situation in Ukraine and the pursuit of reform ahead of closer EU-Ukraine relations, however, dominated discussions.
