15/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 14 March, the Commission gave its approval to the acquisition of joint control of WGB Wärme GmbH & Co KG (“WGB”) by MVV Energie AG (“MVV”), owned by the city corporation of Mannheim and GSW Gemeinnützige Siedlungs- und Wohnungsbaugesellscha15/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - ft Berlin mbH (“GSW”), jointly owned by Goldman Sachs and Cerberus of the US. MVV and WGB are public service operators, while GSW is active in real estate. The operation was examined under simplified merger review procedure. (cd)
