Commission clears acquisition of Telenet by LGI and acquisition of UPC Belgium by Telenet

Brussels, 27/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 26 February, the European Commission cleared the proposed acquisition of the cable operator Telenet (Belgium) by Liberty Global Europe (The Netherlands) a subsidiary of US Liberty Global Inc. ("LGI"), and the closely related acquisition of UPC Belgium by Telenet.
