Inauguration of European network for tracking down fraudsters who take advantage of internal market to abuse consumers

Brussels, 27/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - Dishonest traders who take advantage of the internal market and internet to abuse consumers in cross-border deals, beware! They will now be pursued across the EU. The European enforcement network will fight against fraud and consumer right infringement in cross border litigation. The network will be inaugurated on 28 February at the premises of the European Commission by Meglena Kuneva, the new commissioner for consumer policy.
