EMCDDA publishes Annual Report 2006: price of drugs is down, seizures are up and consumption is stable

Brussels, 29/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - Marcel Reimen, the president of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) in Lisbon, presented the Annual Report 2006 on drug use in Europe, on Thursday 23 November in Brussels.

The report sets out data from the 25 EU Member States, Norway, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey. It is made up of four chapters devoted to cannabis, cocaine, opioids as well as amphetamine, ecstasy and psychotropic substances and examines drug use,...
