Brussels, 29/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 27 November, the European Commission adopted detailed proposals on the new partnership agreement in fisheries between the EU and Greenland signed in June (see EUROPE 9209). The texts have now to be adopted by the Council, after the European Parliament delivers its opinion. The new agreement will last six years from 1st January 2007.
