(EU) EU/TURKEY: No negotiation on eight key chapters or closure of any of others as long as Ankara does not meet commitments

Brussels, 29/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the College of Commissioners decided to put the brake on accession talks with Turkey on eight chapters and not to close any of the remaining chapters as long as Ankara fails to comply with its Customs Union obligations.
