Commission hosts conference on creation of Master's in translation

Brussels, 18/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 19-20 October, the European Commission will host a conference in Brussels, “Towards a European Master's in Translation (EMT)”. Experts from all EU Member States, plus Bulgaria and Romania will attend. Some 70 higher education institutions offering teaching in translation will thus be represented, along with international organisations, such as the UN, NATO and the OECD, and professional associations to discuss developments in translator training...
