Brussels, 18/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - The two most important European wine producing organisations the Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC), and the national wine producers' association (CNAOC), as well as the FEDEROC (Confederazione nazionale dei consorzi volontari per la tutela delle denominazioni di origine) have protested in a press release published on 13 October against the European Commission's plan to liberalise the whole of the wine sector.
