Towards regional political partnership between EU and Horn of Africa

Brussels, 18/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 20 October, the European Commission is to present the strategy which it is proposing for the peace, security and development of the Horn of Africa. The communication on this subject, which was prepared by the services of Louis Michel, Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid, received the political blessing of the College of Commissioners on Wednesday. Its formal adoption will be a written formality.
