18/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - Mercedes Bresso, president of the Piedmont Region, is organising on 4 October in Brussels, together with the Conference of European regions in the legislative process of the EU (REGLEG), a seminar on the role of the European regions in the EU's legislative process. Participants include Gerhard Stahl, Secretary General of the Committee of the Regions, Desmond Clifford, Secretary General of the Welsh presidency of REGLGEG, and representatives from the regional governments of Extremadura, Catalonia, Sicily, the region of Salzburg and Flanders.
