18/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Institute of European Studies at the Free University of Brussels (ULB) is beginning its “Tuesday European Competition Law” sessions with a meeting on 17 October on the subject of Belgian competition law. On 14 November the theme will be fining policy, in light of the new guidelines, on 12 December application of EU competition rules on financial services, 16 January 2007 their application to the energy sector, 13 February reform of Article 82, 13 March recent developments on controlling mergers, 24 April current affairs involving state aid, 15 May damages to be paid for violation of EU competition rules.
