18/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 15 September, the EU Council adopted without debate a decision authorising the European Commission to open negotiations on amendments to the Convention on multilateral cooperation under the North-West Atlantic fisheries convention (NAFO Convention, from the name of the competent regional fisheries organisation, the North-West Atlantic Fisheries Organisation).
