18/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - Fishing by French vessels for bluefin tuna in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic has been banned until the end of 2006. French vessels have reached their allocated quota, according to a national ruling which appeared in the “Official Journal” on 15 September. The French quota is 6,200 tonnes per year.
