19/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - The public hearing on the Community's future policy on patents on 12 July in Brussels will draw on the preliminary results from the consultation launched at the beginning of the year (EUROPE 9192 and 9110). Forty participants from the two thousand who took part in the consultation (and selected by the Commission in a way that was representative of the whole of public opinion on this issue) will speak in the debates.
