EU calls for immediate halt to unacceptable activities of Lord's Resistance Army and for justice to be done

Luxemburg, 14/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 12 June, EU foreign ministers condemned the acts of violence of the lord's Resistance Army in both Northern Uganda and the sub-region. “The EU stands ready to contribute to put an end to the unacceptable activities of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) … as well as to assist efforts to improve the humanitarian situation in Northern Uganda,” stated the conclusions adopted.
