ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) defence

The Swedish company ERICSSON will be selling off its defence business in ERICSSON MICROWAVE SYSTEMS to the SAAB aircraft manufacturer. It will also be selling off its stake (40% of shares) it holds in SAAB ERICSSON SPACE for SKr 3.8 billion. ERICSSON's defence business obtained a turnover of around SKr 2 billion in 2005.
