14/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Political Bureau of the European People's Party (EPP) has accepted two Belarusian parties - Belarus Popular Front (BPF) and the United Civil Party (UCP) - as Observers. Wilfried Martens, president of the EPP, said that this initiative could help strengthen democracy in this country.
