Commission announces two packages of measures for second half 2006 to foster research and innovation

Graz, 24/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 21 April, Günter Verheugen, European Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry, who was speaking at the informal meeting of the Competitiveness Council in Graz, said: “During the second term this year, we shall have something concrete”. Mr Verheugen announced “two packages” of measures that will improve financial support for innovative enterprises.
